About Vedora

How it works, what we stand for, and what you can expect.

What Vedora Is

Vedora is a free-learning search engine that helps you discover genuinely free courses, books, scholarships, and internships from real providers around the world. Think of it as a directory — one place to find free educational resources the internet already offers, curated and verified for quality.

Core Mission

Knowledge should be accessible to everyone, regardless of financial barriers. High-quality free resources already exist — from MIT and Harvard courseware to Project Gutenberg's library to thousands of zero-fee scholarships and internships — but they are scattered across hundreds of sites and hard to find. Vedora brings them together in one searchable index so anyone can discover them.

Our Rules — Non-negotiable

No paid content

Every course, book, scholarship, and internship listed must be genuinely free to access. No paid-only listings.

No disguised trials

If a resource requires a paid subscription after a trial period, it does not belong here. Free-to-audit courses with optional paid certificates are allowed — the learning itself is always free.

No fee-charging internships

Internships must have zero fees at every stage of the application process — no registration fees, no processing charges, no exceptions.

Regular verification

Everything in the index is checked daily to ensure links still work, listings are still active, and nothing has slipped behind a paywall.

What You'll Find

  • Courses — Free online courses from top universities and platforms like Harvard, MIT, Stanford, Coursera (free-to-audit), edX, freeCodeCamp, and more. Covers coding, science, business, arts, and everything in between.
  • Books — Free books and eBooks from Project Gutenberg, Internet Archive, Open Library, and other open repositories. Read online or download — no signup required.
  • Scholarships — Fully funded and partial scholarships from governments, universities, and foundations worldwide. Every one is free to apply for.
  • Internships — Zero-fee internship opportunities at companies across tech, finance, consulting, and more. No application costs at any stage.

How the Site Works

Vedora is a search engine, not a content host. Here is what that means:

  • Vedora never hosts any course material, book text, scholarship application, or internship listing. It only indexes and links directly to the original, official provider's website.
  • All learning, reading, and applying happens on the provider's own site. Vedora is a directory — like a library catalog, not the library itself.
  • This model follows the same standard practice as Google Search, Class Central, or any other indexing service. Linking to publicly available free resources does not require special permission — Vedora does not copy, redistribute, or claim ownership of any content.
  • If any provider does not want to be listed, we honor removal requests immediately — no questions asked.
For providers: If you represent a resource listed here and wish to have it removed, please email anivaratech@gmail.com with the details. Removal is processed promptly and without dispute.

Privacy

Vedora is designed with privacy in mind. Here is what you should know:

  • No cookies or tracking scripts. Vedora does not set any cookies, use localStorage, or load third-party analytics (no Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or similar).
  • Resume uploads. If you upload a resume via the AI Assistant or Skill Gap Analyzer, the file is processed temporarily in server memory and deleted immediately after analysis. Nothing is stored, logged, or shared with third parties.
  • Search queries. Search queries are stored anonymously for analytics (trending and popularity computation) and retained for a limited time. No personal information is intentionally collected.
  • External resources. Vedora loads the Google Fonts and Lucide Icons libraries from external CDNs. These services may receive basic connection information (IP address, referrer URL) as part of standard web operations.

For any privacy-related questions or data deletion requests, contact anivaratech@gmail.com.
